WHAT ELSE CAN I EXPECT?
An interesting stage program will take place during the event as well as lots of information- and activity booth will be presented.
WHERE WILL THE SUVIVORS MEET?
After 12:30 p.m. we invite all survivors for coffee or tea into the survivor tent next to the stage. A special program is waiting for them. The day ends with a moving survivor ceremony on stage. For this we ask all present survivors to get on stage for our traditional "photo in pink". More information for survivors click here.
WHAT´S FOR CHILDREN?
Before the races will take place there will be a children run around the Tanzbrunnen from 12:30 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. The participation fee for the Kids for Survival Run will be 5 €. Registration can be made directly on race day at the registration booth. Each participating child will receive a certificate and a ticket for a children´s raffle.
In addition, a colorful childrens program is waiting at the 5th Cologne Race on our little guests with a bouncy castle and a children´s Olympics at the Kids area. The children´s program is free and starts about 1:00 p.m. There will be no childcare, children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE FINISH LINE?
At the finish line, we offer all walkers and runners a free snack, fruit and drinks from our partners and sponsors. All participants over 18 can refresh themselves with a free drink from the Krombacher ALCOHOLFREE range after crossing the finish line.
WILL THERE BE AN AWARD CEREMONY?
As in previous years, there will be no award ceremony in favor of a raffle. Each participant will receive a ticket with the starting packet. Survivors will also receive a pink raffle ticket. Besides the sporting activity the Race for Survival series is focusing on solidarity.
CAN I BRING FOOD AND DRINKS TO THE SITE?
The area at the Tanzbrunnen is private property, therefore outside food and beverages are not allowed. This year we will offer a bake sale to benefit Aktion Pink e.V. again. Coffee and soft drinks as well as numerous food stands can be found throughout the Tanzbrunnen site. RheinConnection GmbH provides the catering so we have no effect on their selection.
