Race for Survival 2016 in Cologne

2 KM WALKING OR 5 KM RUNNING

Starting is at the Tanzbrunnen and than follows the 2 km walking route (one round) and 5 km running route (two rounds) through the Rhine River Park. It offers beautiful running routes close to the Rhine with no traffic noise an exhaust fumes!

WHAT ELSE SHOULD YOU KNOW?

Changing rooms, toilets and bag check will be available, but there will be no showers. Scooters, in-line skates, skateboards, bicycles, Nordic walking sticks or headphones are not allowed for safety and insurance purposes. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome during the 2 km walk.

Driving Directions

By Car: Please follow the green signposts Koeln/Messe direction Staatenhaus. These will guide you in the area close to the exhibition center directly to the planned parking areas by the Tanzbrunnen Köln. Please note: since the 01.01.2008, the Cologne city center is an environmental zone, only vehicles in the pollutant groups 2 to 4, and bear the corresponding plate are allowed to enter.

By public transportation: You may reach Cologne Messe/Deutz station via S-Bahn, Regional Trains and intercity transport.
Or you take the Underground lines 1, 3, 4 and 9 until station Deutz/Lanxess Arena. There, please follow the pedestrian signposting to Staatenhaus/Tanzbrunnen. The walk will take you approx. 5 to 7 minutes.
